Works in stock Archibald Ziegler, NS, ARCA (Lond) (1903-1971) was a painter of landscapes, figure subjects and still life in oil and watercolour, and a portrait sculptor. Born in London, he studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts and at the Royal College of Art 1927-30 under William Rothenstein. He exhibited widely, including at the Royal Academy from 1931-1970, also with the New English Art Club and the National Society of Painters and Gravers (the NS, of which he was a full member), and held several  one man shows. His work is held in a number of public collections, including the Ben Uri Gallery permanent collection, London Borough of Camden, Camden Local Studies & Archives Centre, and the Royal Free Hospital. He lived for much of his life in Hampstead, London NW3.
