Works in stock John Robert Keitley Duff, RI, RE, PS (1862-1938) was a well known landscape and genre painter in watercolour, oil and pastel, often featuring sheep or birds in his work. He studied at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, where he received a law degree, and later studied art at the Slade School under Legros. Duff exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1891, and with the New English Art Club from 1894, and was elected a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours 1913 and of the Royal Society of Etchers in 1919. His work is represented in several public collections, including by three examples in Manchester City Art Galleries. He published Pastel: A Manual for Beginners and lived in London for many years.
