Works in stock Hal Woolf, NS (1902-1962) was a painter in oil and watercolour often of town scenes. He studied art at Chelsea Polytechnic under Bernard Adams 1920-22 and later in Paris at La Grande Chaumiere. He exhibited with the Royal Academy, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the London Group, and with the National Society of Painters and Gravers to which body he was elected a member in 1946. He lived in London for many years and died in mysterious circumstances 24 hours after being hit by a car in Park Lane.
