Works in stock Erich Wolfsfeld (1885-1956) was known internationally as an etcher and painter. Born in Krojanke in Germany he was brought up in Berlin. Wolfsfeld studied art at the Berlin Academy and at Academie Julian in Paris 1905-06. He also studied in Rome and was soon exhibiting at the leading galleries in Berlin and Vienna. Wolfsfeld was professor of painting and etching at the Berlin Academy 1920-35 and he fled Germany in 1939, settling in London.  He exhibited at the Royal Academy 1943-56 and his work is held in a number of public collections.
